Dating Across Divided Lines

    Why is it that women can date men that have money,
but men cannot do the same without ridicule. With all
the hype on women in the workplace, should this not be a
norm in our society now? Is it really that taboo for a
man to run the house, and a woman go to a job outside the
home?

    Well, lets answer these questions:
1. Can men be really good at raising children?
2. Can a man sweep a carpet or wash dishes?
3. Can a man cook a big healthy delicious dinner?
I believe the answer to all these questions is a resounding
YES.

    #1. I know several men (including myself) that have had
great success in raising their children (as they should).
However,they did not do this at home, they had to work
most of the time and then come home and do this all in a
short period of time before bed. Seeing this dedication
from such dads leaves me to believe given the chance they
could do even a better job if they were around all day.
Not that they could bo a BETTER (persay) job than a mother,
but AS well a job.

    #2. I, being a single man with my own house, know for a
FACT that a man can clean wash dishes, sweep, do the
laundry, AND do all the other outside chores as well.
Having done this for a year or so now and working outside
the home, I alone have proven this true.

    #3. Once again, I know several men (including myself)
that can cook one heck of a dinner/meal. Of course I would
have to say that most men are better cooking outside on the
grill or firepit than in the kitchen. Well, who says you
can't have steak and burgers every night, huh?

    Well, having made those points (or trying to), I was just
pondering why our society puts such big emphasis on the man
having to be the "breadwinner". I don't see a problem with
either gender being the one to stay at home as long as
the other makes enough money and enjoys what they do. I just
think that men should have the same opportunity to be the
one to stay at home. Peace be with all of you.
